Sample file of a ghoul painted with Citadel paints and based using gamers grass accessories.
I suck at taken photos :p
These ghouls are more and more invasive. We have reports from villagers who saw them roaming the streets at night. We are no longer safe at home. Someone has to take care of it.
one of the first 3d models I've ever printed and the absolute first model i printed and painted. Loved the detail and the model.
Death Plague Ghoul, one of my very first resin prints. Painted with Castle Acrylic paints.
Resin Printed and painted with Citidel Paints. did not scale the size.
Undead scheme ghoul. Shadow 5.5s, Sirayatech simple smoky black.
Skinless scheme ghoul Shadow 5.5s, Sirayatech simple smoky black
This character may look bright and cheerful but underneath its beautiful skin, it is a killer and a thief going after all of the leprechauns to get all the gold. Muahhhhhh!!!!
There was an epic battle between two monsters. One good the other one evil. The good monster won, but he had to sacrifice his arm for the better good.
Be careful of the caves that you explore as you may find yourself a ghoul and it wouldn't be a very happy discovery for you as you wouldn't be able to tell the world about it.....
Plague spawnlings living their best lives
Silently creeping across the cottage rooftop, the ghoul observed the adventurers' battle, patiently waiting to pounce on the victor.
Through flame and ash, something devious crawls forth
My take on the Ghoul.
Let's go swimming.
Beautiful Death Hag.
Looks like a green goblin but is actually a ghoul that brings terror wherever it goes!
Stampato con elegoo mars 2 pro, l'ho dipinto con colori citadel,la basetta e una stampa da negativo con resina bicomponente e l'effetto sangue fatto con resina trasparente e acrilico rosso .
Death Plague Print & Paint Competition by Kris Grant
Printed using Elegoo Standard resin. Ghouls primed in Corax White then painted using mainly glazes. Diorama base is by Zabavka Workshop (60mm Graveyard) and the accompanying necrobeasts are by Printomancer and printed at 30% scale to match the Ghouls. I don't normally paint this sort of theme or style but it was an interesting and enjoyable challenge.
Ghoul for Death Plague Print & Paint Competition
Name: Justin Lane insta @Critical.paint Description: I went a bit differnet to your standard dead gray ghoul for something a bit more striking enhancing the colours to create something that would strike fear into anyone who came across it in a dank dark dungeon!
A portal opens up near the east gate. Ghouls come rushing through for the third attack this morning. Up to now we have managed to keep them back. Our numbers are dwindling, but for how long we can keep up this fight is uncertain.
I made two versions, and plan to use them in a D&D campaign. Printed on Elegoo Mars 2 and painted with craft paints.
First mini I've painted! it's not perfect but I had a fun time. He's painted with Walmart apple barrel acrylics (I've since gotten actual hobby paint) and my resin printer is still waiting to ship, and I didn't have flocking or sand or pretty much anything for basing, so hopefully once I have better supplies I can paint better models- but for a first try, Im happy :) on a side note... I LOVE making stone and brick walls, maybe I'll just make terrain from now on haha.
Three different colors, triple the terror! I used purples for one, browns for the second and shades of red for the third. All started with a khaki base for the skeletal bits and progressively added a dash more gree. Finishing them off, I utilized a unique recipe for an oil wash that I use to keep them looking......juicy....
Painted like a bloodie flesh sack with spikes
Plague zombie searches for fresh blood
A small project using pieces of previous ones and material that I had in the house, it was a good occasion to try new things and do more than just paint the model, put it in its natural environment
Voici mon Ecorché vif
Ghoul in a dungeon.
I printed this on my Mono X, the paint job is a bit rough because it's my second time trying hahaha
Decomposing ghoul after a fresh meal.
Ghoul Goombas running for their lives from the big bad plumber. Guts spilling from their wounds they still run.
A recently infected hexer protecting his sanctuary at Durham cathedral.

Sorry for the photo quality I don't have a good place to take pictures and this is my first competition. Also sorry about the double submission. I have to do this on my phone and I messed up. This model printed great on the pre supports and it was a blast to paint.
My Precious Eggs
In search of food in the wilderness, the ghoul wanders covered in the blood of his past victims.
Printed in PLA, in 28mm, small figure for the printer I have, but a challenge. I hope you like it. Thank you for the opportunity to participate.
Printed and n my epax e6 using elegoo water washable resin
Death Plague Sacrifice
Death plague ghoul in the wilderness post-pandemic.
For this competition, I printed the ghoul and base individually. For the base, I used a sculpt in the thingiverse link below that I liked (credit to the designer, I think it looks great). Then I painted each piece individually, glued together, and added some light highlights and shadows. I wanted this piece to feel like there was a light source coming in from in front of the ghoul, as if some unlucky wanderers had shined a flashlight on the creature in its den. So I highlighted the face, shoulders and arms, while adding some grayish blue to keep its backside in shadow. I decided to use some flesh tones as opposed to the red skin tone provided in the visual with the stl file. I thought it'd be creepier if it looked like a person had turned into the ghoul. This is my first competition and is also one of the first minis I've ever painted. I've been super into 3d printing for a year now. I have two Ender 3 pro fdm printer. However, I just added a Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k to my arsenal, which is what I used here for this project. I'm a dm with a group of friends, in which I've printed and painted an owlbear and two umber hulks, so this ghoul is my 4th ever print and paint and I'm really happy with the results. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4910898
My entry for Death Plague Print & Paint Competition.
The Ghoul was painted mainly using Kimera and Vallejo paints and finished with an oil wash. Tested out some blood effects on the miniature in some of the shots. I chose to create a Gothic horror scene for the Ghoul to show him in a suitable setting. Thanks for a great figure and a fun challenge!
Having a Ghoul open and climb out of a trap door to a lower level will always freak out any gaming party. Given the fact that there may be more just waiting to reveal themselves. And what is that dripping from its mouth? Is it venom, poison, or give a party member a disease if bitten. I printed this Ghoul on my Photon mono SE, with .04 layer height, and with skin color resin from SUNLU. The figure is primed in grey and painted with The Army Painter Warpaints, Citadel Colour, and Reaper Master Series Paint. I definitely plan on using this Ghoul in an upcoming adventure.
Bloody plague ghoul after freshly ripping into a corpse.
Ghoul printed at 100%
Printed on the Elegoo Saturn. Four different shades of ghouls to show some of the range possible with the model.
Ghoul from Deathplague competition, on arcane seal.
Death Plague pack of ghouls, attacking an adventure in a snowy forest.
"It is called the Death Plague for death is what it truly spreads. Those who are affected feel their energy leave them within hours. As they languish in bed with pustulating boils appearing over their body, they eventually wither away. And soon, a plague ghoul rises to continue its spread..." Howdy stranger! :] I had a lot of fun participating in this competition. This is my first time doing anything like this and I enjoyed it very much. I am pleased to present my version of this monstrosity. It was very difficult for me to finish this print but I did it.. Thank you to everyone who took the time to check out my work. Good luck to you and God bless! Stay safe out there and be kind to one another!
The death plague sweeps across the countryside, and neither man nor elf can stand against the hordes of ghouls.
I named this small diorama "energy guzzler" and it is an appeal don't fall asleep in front of TV to safe energy. The whole scene is painted in black and white except the gore.
The start of it all
My first print and paint competition. It is not a perfect job but I will improve over time, I'm satisfied with the result obtained with an FDM printer
Death and Disease are taking over the City. As the Death Plague Monster and his plagues of mutant rats take over and infect the water supply
Ghoul by Treebeard W/ glow-in-the-dark eyes.
While adventuring on the forest path, rustling can be heard in the forest brush. Suddenly it seems as though the forest is alive as a ghoul with overgrowth bursts out hungry for nourishment. This forest version ghoul was printed on my Photon Mono SE at .04 layer height, and with skin color SUNLU resin. The figure was primed in grey paint and painted with The Army Painter Paints, Reaper Master Series Paints, and Citadel Paints.
Regional ghouls.
Painted with oil and acrylic. The base was made with polymer clay tiles I made.
I used this smaller print to test ideas before painting on a larger model. Painted with oil and acrylic. I sculpted the tile base from polymer clay.
The Yellow Bastard for you
"Be careful my friend. Even the bravest hexers do not enter the ruins alone. A very contagious disease decimated all the villagers who lived there, and those who dared to approach it. At night, starving ghouls search the rubble to feast on the remains of hapless adventurers."
