Description
This is a scan I made of a stone head of Attis at the excellent National Roman Legionary Museum in Caerleon, South Wales. The Cult of Attis was apparently very common, especially in terms of funerary rites, in Roman times.
The museum is most definitely well worth a visit, along with the nearby Roman baths, amphitheatre and barracks. The website is at:
The scan was done with the Sony 3D Creator app on an Xperia XZ1 Compact smartphone, which did a good job of representing the shape.
