Update-1:
I have just updated the .stl file with a couple of changes.
-Fixed an issue that would cause the head to fuse to the body on many resolutions
-Reinforced the wrist joints for stability
-Loosened the tolerances on the leg joints to make the print less likely to fuse the leg joints.
*special thanks to Brandon and Joel, from the MonoPrice Mini Select FB group for printing this and taking the time to give me great feedback to improve my model.
YellowScope is Proud to Announce the YellowScope YS-2. An articulated Print in place robot model. This is one of my first full designs. So, any input is greatly appreciated. I would love to pictures if anyone prints this!
I've printed this with a .175 layer height (I have also tested and confirmed .2 works as well), with 3 Layer Walls with best results.
I use some pretty tight clearances for some of the joints so a properly tuned printer is important.
Remove the two build in supports on the back of the Arms
I had to use two small built in supports in order to improve my success rate.to Remove them, simply bend them up and down until they break, This should leave very minimal markings on the print.
