This vase was made by Isidore de Rudder around 1895. Rudder studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels from 1869 to 1879. He became professor from 1911 to 1915 and from 1919 to 1926. His travles to England, Germany and France were enabled by winning the Belgian Academy Award in 1880.
