'Grow' was sculpted in virtual reality using an application called Gravity Sketch, which accurately captures my gestures as three-dimensional brushstrokes. I feel this brings a human sensitivity into 3D modeling, which is often more technical than it is visceral.
If I were you, I would scale this as large as your printer can manage ;)
