A tribute to one of my favorite characters on The Walking Dead TV show! Design based on season 4 Rick... The best Rick :)
27 pieces printed on a Form2 SLA printer. I used a 14 gauge wire for snug fitting joint pins in the elbows and knees. Prints shown in the product photos are at 1:18 Scale (4 inches/101mm) but please print at whatever scale you would like!

-What I used to post process this print: Flush cutters (for removing support materials), Super Glue (only used on inner thigh), 14 or 16 gauge wire (for the joint pins), Wire cutters (for trimming the joint pins to length), Razor (for trimming and clean up of material), Power Drill (optional. for using the 14 gauge wire as a makeshift drill bit for a perfect fit)
-For better assembly, try and avoid having the auto generated supports touch areas of the model where connections are made e.g. joints and the inner thigh.
-Use a small amount of glue to hold the inner thigh and upper leg together when assembling.
-The ball joint pieces may need to be scaled slightly larger when finding the right tolerances for your printer and for a snug fit.
-Orient the gun with the hammer away from the build plate so that no supports are added to it. This is one of the most delicate parts of that model.
-The 14 gauge wire used to pin the joints together was also used like a drill bit to remove a small amount of the inside of the holes for a perfectly snug fit.
-This is a pretty advanced print so good luck! Please let me know if you have any questions or comments about the print and build.
