Accoridng to the Popul Vuh (the Mayan legends of creation) Ixmucane is one of the thirteen creator gods who created our first ancestors out of corn dough. The importance of corn in Mesoamerica and even now throughout the global economy, cannot be overstated. The Maya attributed their very existance to it.
This 3D printable piece has a grand double door entrance hang with a traditional authentic stone Toran. There are 4 step pedestals in each corner of the square were you can either place the Ixmucane statue and vase or any other statue or decor.
This would make a great diorama, or a fantastic addition to any dungeon as a grand entrance or atrium.
Toran of Ixmucane is part of our Mesoamerican collection.
This model will print in one piece without the need for support. There are plenty of small overhangs which have been filleted(under curved) to avoid the need of an endless stream of supports that would make this print pointless.
To avoid any noodeling under these overhangs, it is preferable to print this piece with a layer height of 18 microns or lower. Still, layer heights of 24 microns will render good results with minimal noodleing, but this depends on the quality of the printer and settings. Overall, you should not have any major problems with this. The sample print photo included was printed at a layer height of 20 microns and produced no visible faults.
