Grewl is a posable monster, printable in 8 support free parts! Created in collaboration with London based animator Helen Piercy from her original concept sketches.
Grewl was modelled by myself in zbrush, and uses multiple klik joints (from the MyMiniFactory 'functional add-on' section) for construction once printed, he has 7 points of articulation, perfect for stop motion animating :)
Grewl also has a laboratory playset! Get it here.
The design is provided in a scale to create a 12cm high Grewl, however we scaled ours down to 45% to create a Grewl measuring approx 6cm high, with all parts fitting on a single print bed. Using a 0.15mm layer height, 15% infill, raft on but support off this took 3 hours 40 minutes to print, and used 37g of filament! Perfect :) Print the body section with support on if printed at a large scale to avoid warping, the rest in support free no matter what scale :)
