MyMiniFactory.com ("We") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
 
This policy (together with our Terms & Conditions and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
 
For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“the Act”), the Data Controller and the Data Processor is My Mini Factory Ltd.
 
MyMiniFactory collects user data in order to perform its services.
 
1. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU
 
The information we collect differs depending on whether you are a customer or become a creator. By creating an account with MyMiniFactory we may collect and process the following data about you:
(a) Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.myminifactory.com (our Site). This includes information provided at the time of submitting enquiry forms or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Site. Information includes:
  • First and Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Username
  • Password
  • Date of Birth
  • State and Country of Residence
(b) If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
(c) We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
(d) Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access.
(e) Data acquired when using our mobile apps (including iOS and Android apps).
(f) Please note a customer must provide payment information to our payment processors. You can see the Privacy Policy for these payment processors on the PayPal, Stripe and Braintree sites. MyMiniFactory does not receive your full card number at this time. Payment processors provide us with a token that represents your account, your card’s expiration date, card type and the last four digits of your card number. If you are required to provide your name and email address to the payment processor then they also provide us with that information. We collect and process information about the creators you buy from, back and support. If you purchase a physical product you will provide your shipping information, including phone number, so the creator or MyMiniFactory can ship you the benefit or provide updates related to the shipment.
(g) In addition, for creators, we will store their relevant business information if applicable, additional information for tax purposes and banking details for payouts.
 
2. IP ADDRESSES
 
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
 
3. COOKIES
 
Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. A cookie is a small information file that is sent to your computer, mobile or other device when you visit a website and it will recognise your device on future visits. These “cookies" can be divided into 4 types each of which is outlined below:
 
Category 1: Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential in order to enable the site to provide services you have asked for such as remembering your shopping bag items.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the EEA where you may not have the benefit of rights granted under EU Data Protection legislation. It may also be processed by staff working outside the EU who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. (b) To allow you to purchase from, back or support a creator, including processing payments.
(c) To reply to your questions.
(d) To process any quotation request we shall provide your data to such third parties to respond to such quotation request.
(e) To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.
(f) To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.
(g) To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so.
(h) To allow creators in all MyMiniFactory products and offerings (e.g. store, Tribes, pledge manager, crowdfunding, competitions) to receive all your necessary information and data in order to process and undertake their full obligations in delivering their service:
  • your name and email address, and other profile information you have provided
  • any messages you send creators through MyMiniFactory
  • your physical address, city, state and country (if applicable, usually for physical products shipping)
  • your phone number (if applicable, usually for physical products shipping)
  • all key information about your transaction with the creator, including amount and date but to confirm not your full payment card information
 
Please note creators are required to keep customer information confidential. Creators should not ask for any additional or sensitive personal information that isn’t necessary. Contact us at info@myminifactory.com if you receive a request for information from a creator that seems inappropriate or excessive.
 
Third parties may also access your data, with your explicit consentement, via our APIs (application programming interfaces). You can revoke access to third parties via your account applications management.
 
We may also use your data, or permit selected third parties to use your data, to provide you with information about goods and services which may be of interest to you and we or they may contact you about these from time to time.
 
Once you have made an enquiry, we may from time to time contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services we think may be of interest to you.
 
 
6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
 
We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.
