Description
This Echo Dot case (2nd gen) is inspired by the Arc Reactor Iron Man wore in the first Iron Man movie. This design is easy to print and assemble.
Features:
- Cover is easy to remove
- Buttons are accessible even when cover is in place
- Blue ring of arc reactor is hollowed out so LEDs can be placed inside
- Space underneath Echo Dot for a battery pack to power LEDs
- Large port opening for Echo Dot power and Aux cable to come out without worry of damage
- This file is easy to print and assemble
Printing Details
Print 5 "Large Ring 1"
Print 5 "Large Ring 2"
Print 10 "Small Ring"
When assembling the arc ring, assemble two halves then glue together.
Use clear filament on "Small Ring" files if you wish to insert LEDs into this project. I used a shimmery blue to get that look.

nice design. im allready printing it. what i miss are some "sound" holes in the main body. it sounds a little bit dump. i will try do drill some disceed holes to improve it. but still... awsome!
