Happy Halloween, Makers!
Scare your party guests with this Trick or Treat? Scare Box. Simply have the user pull the lid back using the pumpkin handle to reveal the creepy spider prank. If you choose to be sweet, simply remove the spider mechanism and replace with candy!
The inside contains a coin battery, copper tape, and an orange LED to light up the box when opened.
Everything in this design is 3D printed, with the exception of a single piece of thread tied to the spider lever and the lid.
This object was made in Tinkercad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/jAKQICl98QC
The spider is best printed on its own to ensure print quality (depends on your 3D printer, mine isn't very accurate).
I used 18% infill on the assembly box and 30% on the spider and spider lever.
I printed these items in sections Box (4 hours 44 minutes), Spider (9 minutes), and the Spider lever (17 minutes).
