Syringe Injection
This is an entry for McGill's MAMSS x MyMiniFactory competition.
As a nursing student I find that we have the very special opportunity of putting the knowledge we have learned into action in a clinical setting. This design in particular shows the knowledge we have learned about the anatomy of the skin which helped prepare us to administer medications, in this case the route of admin is subcutaneous, so the needle is pointed at a 45 degree angle.
This is my first ever 3D printing design, therefore I know that I am definitely lacking a lot of fundamentals, in fact, I'm not even sure if the file I uploaded is a valid one. I knew that the upside down syringe is unstable as it is only being held by a needle, however I wanted to the design to be dynamic.
