Description
Two right hands intertwine creating a space in-between. The way these two hands meet, remembers the architectural style typical of gothic which highly fascinated the sculptor.
Completely cut into stone with original toolmarks still visible, this piece is part of the many works created by the artist after 1900 and representing sole hands. Other example of this stylistic choice might be "The hand of God", "The hand of the Devil", "Hands of lovers" and "Hand from the tomb".
