Description
The subject of the Shepherd is very recurrent in Christian iconography. Moses was once a Shepherd, Abel as well, and Jesus is sometimes qualified as "the Shepherd of Humanity". The sheep also have a strong significance: the lamb is the symbol of the Christ and of innocence. Therefore, this "Good Shepherd" could be any of these three Biblical figures
