My flexible 3D design is a set of molds for cast structures. Flexibility both in terms of mold material property and printable textures enables a microfactory to prepare e.g. concrete, gypsum, resin and fibrous tiles. This set includes the main frame, one plate to add texture and two alternative plates to shape the tile reverse side; a flat (back1) and a convex (back2). The convex plate is to create space for a led lighting fixture behind the tile. Thus the grooving aligned on the reverse side helps in running the wires. The thickness of the tiles can be varied by the mold filling degree. Yet another level of flexibility is achieved with magnetic fixing I have included a demonstration for an interior surfacing concept.
