Resin is not for free (sadly).

Okay a good example of easy to make and hard to print XD.
So yeah... Violet Evergarden, Ladyßs and Gentleprinters.^^
Ok so it was quite difficult to be honest. To bring Violet in a good pose which should fit to her character was the first "problem".
After this the fixing process started....and more...challenges happend :)
The Hair took a lot of time, Violet have a lot of tiny strains of hair and also not straight.
Hair here...hair there....hair everywhere :P
The dress was ok overall. The tiny details took a while but it was not difficult. Her suitcase and the arms were a challange too.
I decided to detach it from the body because the suitcase could lead to totally fail prints because of the massive size.
For the assembly system it worked very good. Another decision was to detach also the ribbons. Well they are very tiny but it is working whith a bit of glue.
After the print I saw the lower body and upper body fit good together but.... hmm...it was a bit to loose. So I added a pin and a hole and also printed her in my pure white resin.
With this version it was way more better for the assembly.
Ok so overall.... a really cool project...but:
Be careful when you print her, you need a bit experience in 3d printing. The Ribbons and ruffles of her design could lead you to massive fail prints.
A good management of supports is reccomended.
But as you can see, it is working and support damages are in a toleratable state.

This is a transformation into a new medium. From a digital work to a printable object. It is not possible to use the models for animation/games etc.

Took me about a month to complete. Overall a fun project. Made me realise I need more than on leather color. The dress was an absolute bitch to print. It took me 3 tries until I gave up and fixed most holes with epoxy. I'm also convined that the front hair is just the wrong size in the files because it will just not match without additional fixing.
