Are giant monsters attacking your city? Have you ever wanted to pilot a giant robot in epic space battles? do you just need a really big friend? Of course the answer is yes to all the questions.
The RevoFrame Chassis system provides you with a collection of parts and joints to build a skeletal frame for your giant robot. The parts can be configured in a wide variety of ways to create many different body types and include ports for attaching armor and equipment. In your downloaded files you'll find bonus files to aid you in creating your own armor and attachments! The package includes a variety of different parts and joints to make many different kinds of body types. There may be a single type shown here, but the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. You're the mecha scientist here, make something awesome! The Frame shown in these pics stands about 11 inches (~28cm) tall so it's not for the feint of heart, but then you're shelf and/or desk needs a mighty defender doesn't it?
The cutout on the front of the torso is compatible with the MechCity People should you need a pilot for your giant robot.
If you're not so interested in crafting your own armor and weapons then consider checking out the RevoFrame Commando addon set available here:

I really do NOT recommend using PLA AT. ALL. for this project. Given the clippy nature of the pins, you're just asking for them to snap off and break inside of the ports while you're trying to put them together. I've done all of my printing with ABS. For my development and testing I use a Lulzbot Mini with the following settings (Cura):
- Layer Height: 0.18mm
- Shell Thickness: 2mm
- Bottom/Top Layer Thickness: 2mm
- Fill: 20%
- Material: ABS (Gizmodorks)
- Speed: 50mmps
- Temp: 250c
- Bed: 110c
- Support: touching build plate (45deg, lines, infill 20%, xy 0.7, z 0.2)
- raft/brim: none
Some of the parts have "support blockers" that are designed to keep support material from getting up inside of ports where they are a pain to remove. Keep this in mind should you reorient any of the parts from what is provided.
due to the nature of different printers and different filament manufacturers, your mileage may vary so use what works best for you. Your tolerances may also vary from what I've been able to produce.
